Good to know
Do guests need to install an app?
No. The QR code opens the upload page right in the browser. No account, no installation.
In what quality are photos stored?
The original is kept unchanged. For the fast gallery view we additionally create a compressed web version; downloads are always the original.
How large can videos be?
There's no fixed upper limit technically — large files upload in chunks. How much storage is available depends on the chosen package.
Can strangers see our pictures?
Only those who know the link. On request, a password additionally protects the gallery so only invited guests can see it.
What happens to the data after the event?
After the celebration your gallery stays online for three months. During that time you can download everything in original quality at any time — and we'll remind you by email well before it expires.
Do you support English?
Yes. Each event can run in German, English or bilingually — with a language switch for guests.
Can guests download the photos too?
Yes. By default guests can download individual images and the whole gallery in original quality. As the host you can restrict this in the settings at any time.
How long are the photos kept?
Your gallery stays online for three months — plenty of time to download everything.
What happens after the storage period ends?
You'll get a reminder email well in advance so you can save all the photos before the gallery closes.

About FeierLinse
Everyone knows the problem: after a celebration everyone has taken photos, but in the end they're scattered across different phones, lost in WhatsApp groups, or gone for good.
FeierLinse brings all those memories together in one place. Guests simply scan a QR code and upload their photos or videos directly — no app, no registration, no technical hassle.
The idea grew from the wish to collect memories more easily and share them with everyone involved. Today FeierLinse does exactly that — simple, privacy-friendly and easy for everyone to understand.
